I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how well your etfile system is working within our support groups. As you know our customer support people handle thousands of calls per month from our customer base. Each of our customers has a unique system setup that is documented in a manila folder. These folders were stored in rows and rows of file cabinets. When a support person needed to refer to the folder they would have to find it in the file cabinets and take it back to their desks for reference as they worked with the customer. Then the hard part would occur in that they had to put it back in the cabinet and you know how often this happens! The outcome of this was that support people would be wandering around the support area looking for folders that were not put back in the cabinets all the while our customers would be on hold waiting.

Since we have installed the etfile system we have scanned in all the information in the folders and now our support people have this information on their desktop. We have had a marked improvement in the handling of our support calls just due to the etfile system. I would like to say that I got back the room that the file cabinets were taking up but people still need a safety net so we haven’t taken that step as of yet but anticipate that it will happen in the new year.  Again, thanks for all the help with the system.
