etbackup-online eliminates unreliable tapes while providing critical disaster recovery storage at our offsite Data Center.
Daily automatic “smart” backups use state-of-the-art encryption and compression technology to save on retrieval time and storage space, and allow you to access the backup made yesterday, last week or six months ago.
With etbackup-online you are protected against any kind of data loss imaginable. Even if your entire business were destroyed, your data is safe.
Current etfile DM users have an additional benefit of viewing their etfile data via a web browser with etfile OnDemand™.
Onsite or via remote administration, etfile's technicians install our intelligent yet simple-to-use etbackup-online Manager (ETM) and help you select which files to backup.
ETM can backup almost any file type: Exchange databases, Lotus Domino, SQL, MYOB, Quickbooks - even open files that would normally be inaccessible.
Every evening (or whenever you schedule it) ETM establishes a secure connection to the etfile Servers in our offsite Data Center and backs-up all of your critical data. ETM's "smart" technology compares that day's data with the previous version then transfers only new or updated files. Even Outlook.pst files that would take hours to transmit in full can be backed-up in just moments.
After each backup ETM emails you a detailed report of how the backup performed, notifying you of any problems. You can access your files at any time from any web browser.
ETM is built on a Java platform - this makes it suitable for all operating systems such as: Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Novell Netware and Sun Solaris
