Software Support Specialist

This position works closely with the user community as a primary contact for all software support assisting with usability issues, operational definitions, change requests, and enhancements to our software application, etfile™. 


  • Must be proficient with tracking cases from open to close and documenting call resolution
  • Must be highly capable of developing and maintaining technical and procedural knowledge
  • Must be able to independently analyze data and develop appropriate solutions
  • Must show initiative, reliability, and organizational skills 
  • Take ownership and responsibility for cases called in or assigned to you by customers
  • Respond to client's cases to diagnose / troubleshoot complex support problems that may include researching system environments, versioning, configuration, permissions and inter-operability with other software and provide guidance by email, or by phone if required.
  • Repair problems via remote access on client system installations
  • Innovate and create client solutions and recommend changes to hardware and software architecture
  • Replicate customer problems, test fixes and document solutions for use by the Software Support Team
  • Contribute to knowledge database for each software component supported, by working alone or in a team-based environment, to establish best practices
  • Escalate cases to the appropriate level per established escalation procedures and within the set performance criteria
  • Perform software installations and upgrades for clients
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Windows OS issues, Microsoft Office version & patches SQL
  • Special projects as assigned


Desired Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 years' software technical support call center experience and knowledge coupled with strong customer services skills
  • Hands on experience with SQL server, scanning, imaging, Microsoft Office, browsing knowledge-bases for answers to questions
  • Must speak articulately and clearly
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related major



Software Sales Representative

This position will work closely with the Insurance Industry. An aggressive hunger mentality and ability to work independently is required. This individual is responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability and growth within their territory by effectively demonstrating etfile™ products to prospective clients and closing sales. Total possible compensation is directly correlated to out-bound cold calling sales efforts, number of demonstrations scheduled, and ability to effectively close business to reach sales quotas.


The most qualified candidates will possess:


  • Aggressive B2B prospecting/selling experience
  • Closing skills a must for establishing new sales
  • Software Presentation/Demonstration skills via
  • Ability to explains features and benefits of the software to prospects
  • Ability to answers prospects' questions about product and provide quotes and other requested documentation. Requires close attention to detail.
  • Ability to proactively seek out new clients by making 150 cold calls per week for purpose of scheduling sales demonstrations
  • Ability to think quick on your feet to answer questions from prospects
  • Superior communication/organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm, good work ethic, self-motivation and intellectual curiosity
  • Coordinating sales projects with the sales manager and other members of the sales team and internal technical experts
  • Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Creating and sending out professional sales emails to prospects
  • Public speaking and software demonstration skills a must
