How Secure is Online Backup 

At etfile security is given top priority - etbackup-online has its own firewalls and all data is sent via a secure 128 bit SSL connection.

Encryption - All files that are sent to etbackup-online are 100% encrypted and are compressed before being sent. Only you know the encryption code, nobody apart from you can read the contents. The encryption code can only be viewed from your computer and is known only to you. The encryption code is never sent over the network, therefore, if you lose the encryption code, your backup will never be readable again. Make sure you keep your encryption code in a safe place so you will never forget it.

Secure login procedure - The login procedure is carried out in a secure environment. etfile uses a secure 128 bit SSL connection to send your login details, although the information is being sent over the Internet, it is impossible for it to be intercepted.

Secure facility - Our Data Center is protected with redundant power sources, biometric access and many more features to keep your data secure.  We also have a replication server in another location that is a second source for keeping your data safe.
