WESTBORO, Mass.-- 4 December 2006 -- etfile,
one of the leading providers of custom integrated, electronic
document imaging, filing and retrieval systems offering superior
price and performance and comprehensive service and support, is
proud to announce some noteworthy results with their most recent
version of etfile.
“We have been scanning all new
documents in personal and commercial lines and the retrieval
process is saving a lot of time for the staff,”
says Bill
Adkins, Principal of WM Adkins Agency, Inc. “They
can retrieve a multitude of documents in minutes.”
etfile is working to provide continuing added
value for its clients with new developments to maximize workflow
and efficiency. The latest etfile 4.0 features
enhancements in overall look and functionality of etfile,
front-end scanning capabilities, file protection, integration
with third party applications, and secure data storage.
Specifically, etfile 4.0 includes:
- New workflow for front-end
scanning involving mailboxes for individual users and
etfile Workflow Console for processing
front-end documents.
- File encryption: All files
in FileRoom are encrypted using 128-bit AES encryption.
- Entity permissions: Ability
to set user and group permissions / security on
FileRoom, Cabinet, Folder, or File.
- Enhanced look and feel:
Ability to set application appearance to Windows XP, Office 2003, Office
XP, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, or Office 2000 theme.
- Closer integration of etfile
Ai with third party applications: Ability to associate
documents in etfile with any displayed entity
(client, policy, claim, activity, transaction…)
in third party applications.
- Online backup: Data is
stored offsite, where it remains completely confidential and
encrypted with the most complex algorithm. Backed-up data
can be restored with the click of a button -- 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week.
“The cost in savings of ‘manpower’
in not having to travel around the office and manually search
for files is immeasurable,” says Attorney
David Rocheford. “Even with a
conservative figure of saving 15 minutes per day in looking for
old files – which would be about 65
to 80 hours a year at $18 per hour –
that is an additional $1,400 in savings a year.”
etfile 4.0 is designed for
seamless integration with legacy systems, including Microsoft
Office, TAM, AMS, ACT!, Doris, AOA, National Platform, Agent
Center, Nationwide and proprietary systems. A Web-based version
of etfile will be released in early 2007. To learn
